Abingdon School will be hosting a Touch Rugby Festival on Friday 20 June 2025, fundraising for the School's senior rugby tour, and the chosen tour charity The Pebbles Project, which enables children from farming communities to access quality education programmes and health, nutrition and social work services in South Africa.
Teams comprising OAs, staff, students, and parents will compete in a match on the First XV pitch on Waste Court Field. Join Matt Gold, Andy Broadbent, and others from the Abingdon rugby community. Family and friends are also very welcome to attend.
The cost for players is £20, non-refundable, which includes your souvenir participant t-shirt, a bite to eat at the touchline and your donation to the tour fund.
Kit: If playing, all you need to bring is your own shorts, socks and boots. If you have a preference for potential playing partners, please include this on the booking form but there is no guarantee that we can accommodate all requests.
In order for team leaders to organise in good time, the deadline for booking onto this event is 27 April 2025.
This looks to be a fantastic occasion so please book now to avoid disappointment – we very much hope to see you there!
