You are cordially invited to attend the annual End-of-Season Awards Dinner for all Senior Rugby players after the final block fixture against Bedford School.

The purpose of this dinner is to celebrate the achievements of all our Sixth Form Rugby teams.

We encourage and hope all Senior Rugby players who have played regularly this season and the families of the Upper Sixth players (parents/guardians) will try to attend. The dinner is scheduled for Saturday, 7th December 2024, in the Pavilion.

The evening will begin with a welcome reception at 6:30 pm, followed by a three-course dinner at 7:30 pm.

The dress code for the evening is black tie.

STARTER

Feta cheese and vine cherry tomato tart, basil custard, wild rocket salad with basil pesto

MAINS

Red wine marinated chicken breast with creamy mash potato, herb braised carrot and honey roasted parsnip, smoked bacon and baby onion sauce

VEGETARIAN

Marinated tempeh fillet with creamy mash potato, herb braised carrot and honey roasted parsnip, baby onion and vegetable sauce

DESSERT

Cinnamon panna cotta with mulled wine jelly, butter shortbread

The ticket price for the dinner is £40.00 per person.

The evening has always been a great success, and we will ensure a sensible restriction on the amount of alcohol available for some Upper Sixth pupils. 

The end-of-season dinner is a popular event, and we can only accommodate a limited number of people. Please purchase tickets through the Abingdon Community Hub by Wednesday, November 27th, to confirm your attendance, payment, and key dinner information. Please ensure you complete the questions asked as part of the booking process as this is essential for helping with menu choices and the names of attendees.
