Congratulations to Sixth Form student Eddie who has won Gold in the Junior Men’s Eight at last weekend’s U19 World Championships in St Catharines, Canada.
After gaining selection for the boat back at the start of July, Eddie and his crew spent the summer break training in preparation. Their preparation went very well and after winning the preliminary race on Thursday they backed up their performance by taking the Gold medal in Sunday’s final.
A huge congratulations to Eddie and his crew mates on winning the Gold medal which meant Great Britain have taken the U19, U23 and Olympic titles in the men’s eight in the same year.
