AITC Stock Pitch Competition

Last week, the Abingdon School Investment Trading Club (AITC) hosted the second annual stock pitch competition. Over twenty students, from the Third Year to Sixth Form, pitched their proposed ‘Best Stock to Buy’ to a team of expert judges:

• Mr Tim Marshall – Founder & Chairman of FoxStephens Investment Consultancy Firm
• Mr Stephen Anness – Head of Global Equities at Henley Invesco Branch
• Mr Will Brocklebank – Founder & Chairman at Shepherd Network

The winners were:

1st place – Joao Filipe (Fifth Year) – Under Armour

2nd place – Matteo (Fourth Year) – Ferrari

3rd place – Chetwin and Bosco (Fifth Year) – Corcept Therapeutics

Dylan (Fifth Year) displayed outstanding leadership skills in planning and delivering the competition. The weekly AITC sessions provide students with highly valuable skills and knowledge for pursuing a related degree or career in the City.
