Over the weekend of 22 and 23 March, RoboCon Oxfordshire 2025 came to a climax. This is the third consecutive year Abingdon has run RoboCon. Launched in November 2024, students at schools around Oxfordshire were challenged to design, build, programme and test a robot – experiencing the processes of Engineering in a hands-on and interactive way. Nine teams worked alongside mentors from Abingdon School (“pink shirts”) in the finals weekend in March, which resulted in an exciting final round with Europa School taking first prize.
