This booking form is for OAs taking part in the Abingdonian Community Touch Rugby Festival Fundraiser. For others who wish to participate please look out for communications from the Rugby Dept.

This year’s festival continues the tradition of fundraising for the Senior Rugby Tour and the chosen tour charity, The Pebbles Project, enabling children from farming communities in South Africa access to quality education, health, nutrition, and social work services.

Teams comprising OAs, staff, students, and parents will compete on the First XV pitch on Waste Court Field. It is a wonderful opportunity to join Matt Gold, Andy Broadbent, and others from the Abingdon rugby community for an afternoon of sport and camaraderie. Family and friends are, as always, very welcome to attend as spectators.

Player Information: In a new update for 2026, the OA Club is delighted to be covering the ticket cost for all OAs this year. For participating OAs, this includes:

• A souvenir participant t-shirt
• A bite to eat at the touchline
   

Supporting the Tour: While the OA Club is covering the participation fee, players will find an option on the booking form to make a voluntary donation. All proceeds will go directly to the tour fund and The Pebbles Project to support their ongoing work in South Africa.

Kit: Players need only bring their own shorts, socks, and boots. If you have a preference for playing partners, please include this on the booking form; while the organizers will do their best to accommodate these, the priority is to ensure balanced and competitive teams across the festival.

How to Book: To allow the organisers sufficient time to finalise the tournament draw and balance the teams, please complete your booking by the deadline: 9 May 2026.
